Setarra, tell us a little more about how you got into modeling!
I’ve always loved modeling since I was very young.
I went to modeling schools, talent scout shows, and just really wanted to be a part of this world.
I didn’t really take it seriously until I moved out and started to pursue it in my own.
I’ve had help here and there but for the most part I've been pursuing through my own determination and dedication to a craft I know I belong to.
What would you say is one of the most difficult aspects of being a fashion model?
I’d say the most difficult part about being a fashion model is starting out.
No one knows who you are and if you don’t already have connections, you have to find them.
Also, it’s the investing in yourself.
You will majority of the time have to pay for your own transportation, hair, makeup, clothes, etc.
These shoots will mainly do TFP (time for print) until you start to be recognized.
To this day, I’m still pushing to break into the industry.
What would you say to aspiring models who look up to you?
Never be to hard on yourself!
It takes time, patience, consistency, hard work, and determination.
It won’t happen overnight, but if you stick to your guns doors will open and opportunities will soon follow.
Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?
I definitely do indeed.
I have big plans in the works and I can’t wait to share with everyone I know.
It will be a wonderful experience.
It can only go up from here and I plan to be very successful.
