MEET KEVIN LARNEY: CEO OF WILDCHAT SPORTS

Kevin, tell us a little more about when you decided to become an entrepreneur?

I never really officially labeled myself as an entrepreneur.

I was honestly just focused on building something that I felt passionate about on a daily basis, mainly within the sports and entertainment space.

I started meeting more people and the brand's digital presence was slowly growing.

We still have a long way to go but I'm excited for our team's current foundation.

You have interviewed very notable athletes! Tell us some more about how you started Wildchat Sports and some of your most favorite interviews!

Wildchat Sports was initially a blog I created in order to build a portfolio for myself and other students interested in pursuing career in sports.

I didn't know what to name it so I decided to name it after the radio segment I was a part of at the University of New Hampshire, called "Wildchats".

I felt like it was a fitting name at the time and I was eager to grow something that had a story behind it.

I started reaching out to talent on a daily basis and came to the conclusion that podcasting was the best and most authentic way for me to grow a strong reputation for the company's brand.

I've been extremely grateful for the opportunity to work/chat with big names over these past few months such as Floyd Mayweather, Shooter McGavin, Mike Eruzione, Christopher Lloyd, Zach King and more.

My ultimate vision is to create an environment that stirs a different perception within the entertainment space that clearly emphasizes the similarities that sports can bring despite diverse personalities/careers.

What would you say to aspiring entrepreneurs & creators who look up to your work?

Find something you feel passionate about, and if you can't seem to find anything that draws your interest create something that will.

I'm still figuring it out myself, but one thing I learned from others I spoke to is if you try your best to stay curious, persistent, and consistent in everything you do... there is no limit!

Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?

More podcasts scheduled, and partnerships coming soon!
