Tell us a little more about how you got into music!
Music has always played a really big part in my life.
I remember at age 15 locking my self in my basement and escaping the world for days after being so infatuated with writing music.
It got to a certain point where I just felt lost on where to go from there.
I was told by many people and friends that I need to be signed to a label in order to make it.
I guess after hearing that day after day, my whole perspective changed.
I slowly started fading away from writing and being an artist all together.
It wasn’t until 2019 when I said 'fuck it, I'm going to make a way on my own.'
I started studying music and artists more in depth.
I recorded my first official single 'Find Away' on GarageBand and it took weeks to learn mixing & mastering along with distribution at that time
I had no idea how to campaign a song, I'll alway remember that feeling in my chest.
After my song was out in the world for everyone to listen to I felt so hyped that I accomplished what I set out to do
Then, in February 2020 I moved out of Portland, Oregon to Houston, Texas to pursue being an independent artist full-time.
I'm confident that I'll make it to top billboard charts but all in due time.
I'm in no rush either because I’m still learning and growing as an artist day by day.
Just like any other job, the harder you work the easier it becomes and the better you are at it.
What would you say to any aspiring artists who look up to your work?
Manifest and believe in yourself and everything you are doing before you take anyone's advice.
At the end of the day it's your vision and only you can make it happen.
Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?
I'm working on a few things preparing for a label that’s still in the works I've named “PDXrecords.”
Also, I'm working on a few projects that are little different from my usual but the 2 people I’m working with are some really talented artists.
We still haven’t set an official date but I’m looking forward to releasing these new songs!
