Tell us a little more about how you first got into making music!
I got into music when I was younger.
Being Puerto Rican and Dominican, I grew up listening to Marc Anthony, Don Omar, Romeo Santos, and many more.
My love for music grew more when I discovered Jay-Z and I became a huge fan.
I was young and didn't know exactly what he was rapping about but he was an icon being from New York.
He had just dropped “American Gangster” and by far had to be the dopest album I've ever played (I wasn't supposed to).
As I grew up music changed over time and my music influence became different.
J.Cole was on the rise along with Drake and I just fell in love with music and how it can captures moments in your life and make you feel an emotion.
What does your creative process look like when you're creating/producing music?
When I'm creating/ producing everything has to start with a feeling.
Either when I'm producing a new beat or writing a new song, I have to feel the music/emotion.
If I don't then I don't process to finish.
If you think about every iconic artist, they all had one thing in common and that was being able to feel their emotion.
What would you say to any aspiring artists who look up to your work?
To aspiring artist that look up to me, I say to continue being yourself , let your heart guide your decision and let your passion speak volume through your music.
Don’t assume that you can shortcut your way into the music industry and succeed.
Continue to grind and don’t give up!
You are going to fail a lot and win a little, but as long as you enjoy the little wins and let your fails push you then you will succeed.
Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?
Something new to look forward to is I would be producing more and more upcoming new artists songs and dropping new singles and even an album later this year.
I've been cooking up.
If you're an artist or producer and want to collaborate, definitely contact me and let's create something great!
