DNoRRi, tell us a little more about how you got into music?
I got into music at an early age.
As a kid, hearing my mom sing around the house, in the car music turned up loud; singing along to some of her favorite songs; I couldn't help but embrace music.
She later introduced me to my first studio while living out in California and bought me a karaoke recording machine to get practice on; to get more comfortable with recording the songs I wrote.
I fell in love quickly with recording songs in the studio; almost obsessed with recording lol.
It felt familiar like home and from there I continued working in different studios getting more experience.
I was recording day and night to get that sound right.
I couldn't imagine life without music, I know it saved me in many ways; so I'm going to always put my all in it.
Your music is a vibe! What does your creative look like when it comes to making songs?
I listen to a couple of hundred beats for about 5 to 30 secs, that's usually enough time to let me know if I can use it or not.
I pick a couple and listen to them a couple of times to get a better vibe and then I like to start writing a hook, from there I can work it, then it's 100.
You are a very respected artist; what would you say to aspiring artists who look up to your work?
Challenge yourself to always make better music than the last, don't be afraid to have your own sound, believe in you as an artist 100% even when your critics don't.
Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?
Yes, I will be releasing new music later this year! My Single 'Everybody" out now.
Available on all platforms.
